What you will do
- Manage MSSQL database design, installation, upgrades, patching, migration, backup and restore, and consolidation processes.
- Design and manage disaster recovery structures and scenarios for database systems.
- Tune and harden database, system, and environment layers while troubleshooting and resolving performance issues.
- Manage cloud project activities related to database migration, consolidation, and prechecks.
- Schedule, test, and validate database backups and restores.
- Monitor database structures and related hardware and software components, including periodic health checks.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in database environments.
- Experience with MSSQL database concepts and structures.
- Intermediate knowledge of relevant database structures and environment components, with database management capabilities.
- Experience with database disaster recovery structures and scenarios, including disaster recovery technologies.
- Strong T-SQL scripting skills.
- Fluent English, strong analytical, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
