Global Senior Chief Accountant, Business Assurance

Location: Baar, Switzerland. Flexible schedule with a hybrid/remote model.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain global accounting policies, standards and governance frameworks for Business Assurance.
• Ensure consistent IFRS application, financial reporting, revenue recognition and accreditation-cost accounting across regions and legal entities.
• Support acquisitions, financial due diligence, purchase price accounting, goodwill calculations and post-acquisition integration.
• Establish standardized pricing, cost allocation and profitability approaches, including auditor day-rate calculations and transfer pricing considerations.
• Support centralized billing, revenue management, digital platforms and accounting processes for software, intellectual property and newly acquired businesses.
• Advise senior management and collaborate with Regional Controllers, Group Accounting, Group Tax, M&A teams and international business leaders.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience in international organizations.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, accounting governance, controls, tax and transfer pricing.
• Experience in a Big Four environment combined with operational experience in a multinational organization.
• Experience with acquisitions, due diligence, post-acquisition integration and the implementation of accounting policies and governance frameworks.
• Fluent English required; German and French are advantageous.

• Data literacy and experience with dashboards, analytics and automation tools.
• Oracle ERP experience.
