Intern PX Cognitive Data Science

Location: Onsite internship in Hilversum, Netherlands

What you will do

• Develop automated workflows for routine data analysis and visualization.
• Clean, prepare, integrate, and analyze data using scientific and statistical methods.
• Write, test, troubleshoot, and improve code for analytical applications.
• Support solution implementation and deployment within hirify.global systems.
• Maintain panel performance and ballot creation databases according to standard procedures.
• Document methodologies and present findings through visualizations and reports while collaborating with scientists and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Sensory Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Python or R and understanding of data analysis, data management, and statistical methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfort working with digital environments and learning new software tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Eligible to work and complete an internship in the Netherlands and available for a full-time internship during the required period.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools or dashboard development.
• Familiarity with software development principles, version control, or deployment processes.
• Interest in consumer research and sensory science with a proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
