Senior Production Engineer (SRE)

What you will do

• Lead production engineering with a focus on stability, performance, security, scalability, and reliable delivery.
• Monitor, alert, investigate, and resolve infrastructure issues across AWS and GCP.
• Build automated and scalable solutions that reduce operational toil and optimize platform performance.
• Act as a technical point of contact during critical incidents, coordinate communication, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Execute production changes, deployments, security requests, and patching activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering Management while coaching and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering experience operating production systems at internet scale.
• Strong experience with system architecture, distributed microservices, self-healing systems, and efficient resource and network utilization.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Docker expertise across public cloud environments.
• Strong programming and automation skills, with experience in Python and Go preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, Nginx or Apache, MySQL, PHP, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems such as Prometheus or EFK stacks, plus strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
