Security & Loss Prevention Assistant Manager (Manufacturing Security): Safeguarding plant operations, physical assets, personnel, and inventory in a manufacturing environment with an accent on security procedures, risk assessments, guard-force management, and physical security technologies. Focus on leading complex investigations, mitigating facility vulnerabilities, and aligning loss prevention policies with plant safety and compliance goals.

What you will do

Develop, implement, and continuously review plant-wide SOPs for security, loss prevention, and crisis management.
Conduct facility risk assessments and vulnerability audits to identify and mitigate security blind spots.
Manage the contract, KPIs, schedules, deployment strategies, and overtime budgets of the third-party security guard provider.
Oversee CCTV, access control, perimeter defenses, physical security technology upgrades, and external technology vendors.
Lead investigations into major incidents, inventory discrepancies, suspected internal fraud, and workplace violence.
Develop loss prevention strategies for scrap disposal, intellectual property, shipping, and receiving.

Requirements

8+ years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
Degree in Security Management, Safety and Health, Sciences, or Engineering.
Knowledge of TAPA, CTPAT, and ISO 27001.
Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety and Human Resources departments on plant safety and compliance.

Nice to have

Previous armed forces experience.
