Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales (Geospatial)

Location: Hybrid role based in Berlin, Germany, requiring work from the Berlin office 3 days per week

Salary: €63,910–€79,870 gross per year, plus potential commission, bonuses, and equity

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, humanitarian, defense, and intelligence use cases.

What you will do

• Design and present complex solutions demonstrating the technical capabilities of hirify.global’s satellite data platform.
• Advise German Defense and Intelligence customers on solution architecture aligned with business challenges, budgets, and scalability needs.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and management stakeholders, including executive government representatives.
• Prepare technical responses to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development on account strategies, pipeline opportunities, and customer feedback.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to training materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience supporting the German Defense and Intelligence community.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent verbal and written German and professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience with GIS and remote-sensing users in the defense industry, including IMINT and ISR.
• Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL, Python, geospatial software, APIs, imagery processing, and data pipelines.
• Eligibility for and ability to maintain a German security clearance is required. Ability to travel internationally up to 25% is also required.
