Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous questions from Product, Finance, GTM, Growth, and other teams into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
• Define meaningful metrics, design experiments and analyses, and measure the impact of shipped features and initiatives.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses across product usage, revenue, forecasting, pricing, acquisition, customer health, and retention.
• Model data in dbt, integrate new data sources, and partner with data engineering on scalable solutions.
• Build dashboards and reporting that enable self-service decision-making across the company.
• Help establish data-team standards, tooling, and ways of working as the organisation scales.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and reliable, trusted analytical work.
• Excellent communication and data-storytelling skills, with the ability to influence decisions and challenge unsupported assumptions.
• Depth in at least one area: analytics engineering and data modelling, experimentation and causal inference, machine learning and applied data science, or product analytics and metric design.
• Ability to work directly with leaders across Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous problems.

Nice to have

• Experience in a product-led SaaS environment, ideally B2B.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Hex, or Dagster.
• Experience as an early data hire at a fast-growing company.
