Risk & Underwriting Analyst (Health Insurance)

What you will do

• Evaluate, price, and build insurance plans for SME and large corporate clients.
• Analyze and price renewal portfolios, implementing rating actions with sales representatives, brokers, and clients.
• Manage accounts and balance long-term profitability, persistency, and growth.
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify trends, patterns, and insights for portfolio management.
• Collaborate with sales, client management, operations, clinical, finance, and actuarial teams.
• Investigate benefit adjudication non-compliance and provide timely underwriting metrics and risk instructions.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience and proven experience in analytics.
• Strong numeracy, data analytics, predictive modelling, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to make commercially sensible underwriting decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Suite applications.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
