Senior Project Manager (Azure/.NET)

Location: Wellington, New Zealand; hybrid delivery teams with an emphasis on in-person collaboration and workplace flexibility.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic application development, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, governance, and delivery outcomes.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, forecasts, accruals, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate business, development, testing, infrastructure, security, and support teams.
• Build relationships with customers, executives, delivery leaders, architects, engineers, and technical teams.
• Support portfolio planning, resource management, governance, and continuous delivery improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading complex application development, integration, modernization, or transformation projects.
• Experience delivering technology projects in large enterprise, corporate, government, or regulated environments.
• Strong governance, risk, issue, dependency, financial, stakeholder, and commercial management capabilities.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, SDLC practices, and modern application delivery.
• Technical understanding of software development, enterprise applications, CI/CD, deployment, release management, infrastructure, and security.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, organizational, and senior stakeholder presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, .NET, SQL Server, web and integration platforms.
• Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Blazor, or legacy application environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Azure Fundamentals or another cloud-related certification.
• Experience with emerging technologies and AI-enabled delivery approaches.
