Performance Specialist, Program Development (Sports Biomechanics)

Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site athletic training and performance environment. U.S. Persons Only required due to ITAR export controls.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year; full-time.

What you will do

• Collect, process, and analyze biomechanical evaluation data.
• Conduct movement, mobility, strength, power, and injury-specific physical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized athlete development plans for athletes across multiple age and competitive levels.
• Use motion capture systems, IMUs, pressure mapping, high-speed video, and ball-flight tracking technologies.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations and adjust programs based on objective performance outcomes.
• Coordinate evaluations and training sessions while supporting client communication, outreach, content creation, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with athletes across multiple sports and competitive levels.
• Experience developing and implementing progressive athlete development or intervention programs.
• Knowledge of movement assessment, performance enhancement, injury mitigation, and physical screening methods.
• Ability to analyze biomechanical and performance data and communicate findings to athletes, parents, coaches, and other stakeholders.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylum status in the United States.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CSCS, CES, ATC, CPT, or similar credentials.
• Experience with optical motion capture, IMUs, pressure mapping, high-speed video, HitTrax, Rapsodo, Trackman, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, Excel, and video analysis platforms.
• Playing or coaching experience and an interest in sports science research.
