Manager, Pharmacy Operations (Patient Safety) (Pharmacovigilance): Overseeing BlinkRx’s adverse drug event reporting, patient safety, and quality operations with an accent on regulatory compliance, SLA performance, and accurate case handling. Focus on leading quality teams, improving scalable workflows, analyzing safety metrics, and resolving complex patient and client escalations.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Robinson Township); candidates must reside locally or be willing to relocate.

What you will do

  • Oversee the end-to-end adverse drug event reporting and submission process, including intake, verification, documentation, and regulatory or client submissions.
  • Manage quality checks, audits, ADE review workflows, SLAs, corrective action plans, and compliance with state, federal, and corporate requirements.
  • Lead quality improvement operations, monitor patient feedback and operational metrics, and implement scalable process improvements.
  • Hire, coach, and develop quality improvement specialists while building succession plans and team accountability.
  • Resolve complex patient, provider, client, billing, and clinical escalations through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Present pharmacovigilance metrics and operational updates to leadership and client stakeholders while coordinating with Quality, Compliance, Clinical, Technology, and Client Services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, quality assurance, or a related healthcare setting.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in people management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and managing the performance of high-performing teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and quality metrics analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and data to varied audiences.
