Salary: $119,543–$152,749 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing payloads, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

  • Develop, coordinate, execute, and lead hirify.global’s on-orbit missions.
  • Own the operations development cycle for mission-unique payloads, from mission profiles through execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve mission operations and ensure mission success.
  • Build web tools to automate operations and reduce operational burden.
  • Scale operational capabilities to support an increasing flight cadence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably aerospace, electrical engineering, or computer science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in real-time operations for a complex, high-consequence operation.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing software tools with Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft avionics, GNC, software, and thermal design practices.
  • At least 3 years of spacecraft systems experience is preferred, along with prior in-orbit operations or operator leadership experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person due to ITAR-controlled technology access.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Git and Atlassian products.
  • Familiarity with ground station networks.
