BlueCard Home Claims Trainee (Health Insurance)

Location: Remote within the USA, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Training runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Eastern; after training, the schedule is Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM and 5:30 PM Eastern, with additional flexibility subject to system availability.

What you will do

• Handle routine claims and route issues to the appropriate support areas.
• Input, review, and validate received claims data against coverage and appraisal guidelines.
• Assist with routine claim analysis, final determinations, and administrative claim-handling activities.
• Gather and document relevant information during preliminary investigations.
• Follow up on routed claim issues and work overtime when required.
• Complete required testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional time management, independent decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and productively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
