Senior Network Architect (Cisco)

Location: Bronshoj, Denmark; on-site role. The position is part of the IT infrastructure and cloud department located in Copenhagen and requires global travel of up to 20 days per year.

What you will do

• Design secure, scalable network architectures aligned with business goals.
• Develop network architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Lead the implementation and integration of network technologies, mainly Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Analyze network performance and implement improvements for scalability, efficiency, reliability, and stability.
• Ensure network designs meet security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide third-level network support, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with IT teams.

Requirements

• Technical education in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• More than 10 years of IT networking experience, including at least 5 years as a network architect.
• Expert-level networking skills covering design, implementation, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is required.
• Ability to work on-site in Bronshoj, Denmark and travel globally for up to 20 days per year.

Nice to have

• Fluent Danish.
• Experience with both Office IT and Production IT.
• Experience in an international organization.
• Experience in a medtech or pharmaceutical company.
