Buyer – Omni Leathergoods

Location: New York, New York, USA; onsite at the corporate headquarters.

Base pay range: $100,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and execute product strategies for omni leather goods categories.
• Drive sales and financial performance across sales, margin, inventory, and turn targets.
• Analyze sales and inventory performance, consumer feedback, and competitive activity to identify risks and assortment opportunities.
• Partner with Global Merchandising, Planning, Supply Operations, Ecommerce, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Field, and Customer Experience teams.
• Manage open-to-buy, markdown and promotional strategies, SKU plans, product delivery, and digital shopping experience initiatives.
• Present business updates to leadership and manage an assistant buyer’s deliverables and development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a retail buying role.
• Experience owning category performance, including sales, margin, and inventory.
• Strong analytical, financial, presentation, time-management, and follow-through skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
