Director, Wealth Solutions

Location: Toronto, ON; work arrangement details, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

Annual base salary: $110,000–$150,00 CAD, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Provide strategic investment leadership and research guidance on fund investments to hirify.global Wood Gundy Investment Advisors and their clients.
• Research the Canadian investment fund universe using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify candidates for recommended lists.
• Construct, maintain, and review model portfolios aligned with investment philosophy, regulatory requirements, market conditions, and client objectives.
• Support advisor product knowledge, portfolio construction, Know Your Product obligations, and client proposal development.
• Present recommendations to the Product Review Committee and senior executives regarding fund company relationships, product access, and shelf concentration.
• Represent hirify.global Private Wealth and hirify.global Wood Gundy in committees, industry forums, publications, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of investment experience with extensive knowledge of alternative investments, GICs, and the broader investment fund industry.
• Experience constructing, managing, and reviewing model portfolios across different client segments.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience as a Registered Portfolio Manager is preferred or currently in progress; fixed-income experience in wealth management is an asset.
• Advanced proficiency with investment research tools such as Morningstar Direct/AWS, Bloomberg, and other industry platforms.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• CFA, MBA, or CAIA credentials.
• Experience as an active money manager with fixed-income expertise.
