Focus on structuring business credit, growing the client portfolio, detecting deteriorating credit files, and strengthening relationships in the local business community.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do
- Build, develop, and lead a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and Associate Business Advisors.
- Manage relationships with high-complexity business banking clients and provide advice on business products and solutions.
- Develop new client relationships through business development, referrals, existing clients, and community networks.
- Grow the business banking portfolio through credit and cash management opportunities and end-to-end credit management.
- Lead coaching, talent management, collaboration, and operational effectiveness across the team.
- Oversee credit quality and risk management, identify deteriorating files, and resolve client and credit issues.
Requirements
- Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams through coaching and people development.
- Experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking, including credit structuring, cash management, and business development.
- Advanced knowledge of risk and credit portfolio management.
- Strong client relationship management, business development, and communication skills.
- Established profile and knowledge of the local business community and its diverse marketplace.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
