Compensation: Day rate; 12-month contract

What you will do
- Own and execute the Sub-Saharan Africa country content strategy and growth levers.
- Manage content health, quality, production, and cultural relevance across local markets.
- Track content discovery and performance across search, recommendations, and editorial surfaces.
- Lead editorial strategy and activate cultural moments with Marketing, Social, and PR.
- Partner with country managers, design, SEO, localisation, creators, product, marketing, and regional stakeholders.
- Build relationships with local creators and partners to grow the content ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in content strategy, regional business strategy and operations, partnerships, or similar roles in high-growth content, media, marketplace, or global technology companies.
- Deep understanding of local content, trends, aesthetics, and user preferences in the relevant market or markets.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and problem-solving.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing content performance and adjusting strategy.
- Experience managing production workflows, partnerships, or local creator activation, with relevant language skills and cultural knowledge.

- Experience with AI-supported workflows and scaling repeatable content approaches.
- Experience in fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environments.
