Research Project Manager

Location: Hybrid working on campus and remotely, with Imaging Facilities located across Greater Manchester.

What you will do

• Coordinate the internal review and setup of human research studies and Clinical Trials using imaging scanners.
• Act as the liaison between imaging operations staff, principal investigators, and research collaborators.
• Advise researchers on regulatory requirements for clinical studies using the Imaging Facilities.
• Work with NHS Research & Innovation Managers to improve and streamline processes for studies conducted on Trust premises.
• Maintain, develop, and implement local policies and Standard Operating Procedures to support quality standards.
• Manage new scanner purchases, major upgrades, and smaller sub-projects with the SBOM.

Requirements

• Experience working in a university and/or NHS Trust research environment.
• Experience setting up and conducting clinical research studies through university and/or NHS Trust processes.
• Significant project management experience.
• Current Good Clinical Practice certification.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
