Cyber Security Analyst (Junior)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work model. Candidates must hold a work permit and residency in Poland.

What you will do

• Analyze security incident, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, and remediation data to identify threats, patterns, and high-risk areas.
• Document data sources, methodologies, analysis processes, and outcomes for transparent and consistent reporting.
• Prepare security analytics reports, risk assessments, and ROI analyses for stakeholders.
• Identify security trends, predict potential risks, and assess the effectiveness of remediation efforts.
• Develop security metrics and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, software engineering, risk management, and data science to improve security processes, tools, metrics, and frameworks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, data analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and risk management practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO, as well as common cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret security data and clearly present recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Work permit and residency in Poland are required.

Nice to have

• Experience preparing security metrics, dashboards, and ROI analyses.
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for cybersecurity analysis.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and platforms.
