Incident Response Analyst II (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM and other monitoring systems.
• Analyze, triage, contain, eradicate, and support recovery from security incidents.
• Review security logs, perform root cause analysis, and improve detection and prevention measures.
• Monitor threat intelligence, coordinate threat hunts, and remove indicators of attack or compromise.
• Help enforce and implement security policies, standards, procedures, and industry compliance requirements.
• Document investigations and remediation efforts, prepare reports, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders and less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity or related IT experience, including security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with security tools such as CrowdStrike, NG SIEM, Proofpoint, Abnormal, Palo Alto, and Cisco.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus solutions, data protection regulations, and secure transaction processing.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages for filtering and analyzing large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills, including the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in travel or hospitality.
• Knowledge of GDPR, PCI DSS, cloud security, and emerging technologies.
