Temp-Production Specialist (Education)

Location: US MA, Remote

What you will do

• Provide composition, layout, illustration, and graphic support for print and digital educational materials.
• Maintain InDesign files, update book files, and create new pages from supplied manuscripts.
• Edit illustrations and photos using Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Build templates and create Style Guide documentation while applying editorial markup.
• Maintain accessibility features, metadata, file structures, and copyright and public-domain permissions.
• Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, internal teams, and offshore production partners to deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Experience with InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of editorial markup and its implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects independently.
• Strong communication, time management, multitasking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver final products and project deliverables according to prioritized schedules.
