2nd Shift Production Operator DCC (Electromechanical Manufacturing)

Salary: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble electromechanical products, including rotor, stator, motor, and drive assemblies, using manufacturing documentation and tooling.
• Strip lead-wire insulation, install pin connectors, and apply varnish, glue, activator, and potting compounds.
• Operate stator potting equipment, mold transfer presses, automated machinery, and hand tools.
• Attach heat sinks to circuit boards and complete final motor and drive assembly.
• Test motors and drives against performance specifications, then prepare and package finished assemblies.
• Complete cross-training across operations and work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Murphy, NC, on the second shift.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude, good eyesight with color distinction, hand dexterity, and the ability to work around strong electromagnetic fields.
• Soldering experience or the ability to become soldering-certified.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and perform prolonged standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
• Position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
