Sr. Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Warszawa, Poland; remote-first position. Periodic work travel is required.

What you will do

• Design, code, debug, and support features for customer-facing healthcare software and web services.
• Build and maintain high-volume applications that monitor sales of products regulated by law and policy.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and Product to translate healthcare workflows into performant, secure solutions.
• Analyze application issues, propose improvements, and contribute to scalable system and architecture design.
• Plan and execute unit and functional tests, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, and improve development flow.
• Strengthen observability through logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting, using AI-assisted tools responsibly for debugging, analysis, and code generation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience designing, coding, and testing web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• Full-stack development experience with customer-facing software and web services.
• Proficiency with Java and Java frameworks, preferably Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, plus HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database design; ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience using or learning AI-supported development tools.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
