Associate SOC Analyst (f/m/d)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work model with remote and office-based shifts

What you will do

• Monitor and triage security alerts involving phishing, malware, endpoints, identity, email, and networks.
• Perform initial investigations and enrich alerts using security tools, playbooks, and established procedures.
• Escalate incidents to higher tiers and support containment and eradication activities under guidance.
• Document investigation findings accurately in ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with SOC leadership, shift leads, internal stakeholders, and specialized cybersecurity teams.
• Help document and continuously improve escalation and investigation procedures.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including phishing, malware, and network threats.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across multiple teams.
• Ability to follow processes and work in a structured environment.
• Availability for a 24/7 Panama schedule with 12-hour 2-2-3 rotations, monthly day and night shift changes, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Krakow, Poland setup.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large, global, and complex enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with endpoint, identity, email, cloud, or network security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IPS, WAF, email security, cloud security, or threat intelligence platforms.
• Operational collaboration with IT and cybersecurity teams in a SOC, NOC, incident response, or security engineering setting.
