Interim Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Berlin preferred; remote possible

A digital commerce platform that helps coaches, consultants, creators, and entrepreneurs build and sell online products, including courses, memberships, payments, and e-ticketing.

What you will do

• Own the eight-month product roadmap and define the commercial return expected from each initiative.
• Improve the journey from sign-up to first sale by reducing drop-offs, shortening time to first revenue, and increasing offer publication.
• Increase checkout conversion through payment-method coverage, improved offer and pricing setup, and measurable experimentation.
• Prioritise platform and partner API integrations and support revenue growth through the partner surface.
• Lead a cross-functional team without direct reports, aligning with product, engineering, marketing, sales, support, designers, and sellers.
• Document decisions, re-plan committed work transparently, and complete a clean handback at the end of the mandate.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including checkout, payments, onboarding, or verification-heavy flows in SaaS or fintech.
• Experience taking over and advancing a product previously managed by someone else.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery, owning roadmaps and priorities, and maintaining reliable commitments.
• Demonstrated conversion or revenue improvement with measurable results and clear ownership of the contribution.
• Ability to write precise specifications, work with funnel and conversion data, and prioritise platform and API integrations.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools such as Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor, or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity or verification providers, tax and compliance flows, or merchant-of-record setups.
• DACH commerce experience or German language skills.
• PLG experience with self-serve onboarding, conversion, or in-product upsell.
• Spec-driven development and previous interim or contract mandates.
