Developer, Product Development (Handbags)

Location: Dongguan, Mainland China — Dongguan Corporate Office

What you will do

• Support product development from early concepts through commercialization and CS sign-off.
• Coordinate prototypes, line presentation samples, Brand Activation samples, and other sampling requirements.
• Follow up on leather, fabrics, materials, components, hardware, and special techniques such as printing, laser work, and embossing.
• Work with engineering, merchandising, materials, production, costing, and planning teams to maintain product quality and accurate development information.
• Coordinate with factories and sampling teams, lead handover meetings, and identify potential quality risks and long-lead-time requirements.
• Update EC-Vision reports, verify allocation and transfer lists, and inspect sample execution at sampling partners.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of product development experience in handbags, wallets, or accessories; outstanding fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Knowledge of bag or fashion accessory manufacturing processes and familiarity with fabric and leather.
• Strong organization, follow-up, communication, negotiation, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and address unforeseen quality issues.
• Ability to collaborate with multicultural teams and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
