Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Novi Sad, Serbia; hybrid office-based position

What you will do

• Build core features for the SaaS Connectors data pipeline service.
• Develop connectors that integrate with source systems and third-party REST APIs.
• Design software solutions that satisfy project requirements.
• Write well-structured Java code and contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes.
• Improve software architecture, troubleshoot existing code, and optimize performance.
• Participate in team on-call duty to maintain reliable service operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Java applications in production.
• Strong coding, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, cloud-based APIs, and databases.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot existing code and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Experience with performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with reliable distributed systems and high-volume data management platforms operating under strict SLAs.
• Experience developing services that communicate with third-party REST APIs.
