What you will do

• Investigate fuel tank design within the Mechanical System Installation department.
• Collect ideas and create concept studies to optimize existing technology.
• Apply bionic design principles to fuel tank optimization where appropriate.
• Develop innovative fuel components for additive manufacturing using CATIA V5.
• Perform weight and cost analyses.
• Collaborate with System Definition and Material & Process departments.

Requirements

• Enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program in aeronautical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Motivation to learn about additive manufacturing technology.
• 3D design skills using CATIA V5, SolidWorks, or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent German and English; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
