Turbine Specialist (Gas Turbines)

Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia; extensive travel across KSA and international customer sites, approximately 80% or 200–250 days annually

What you will do

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on large gas and steam turbines and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex operational and equipment issues at customer sites.
• Coordinate field service activities with shift leads and field service engineers in line with quality, EHS, and project requirements.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, technical schematics, OEM specifications, and work instructions.
• Supervise subcontractors and maintain workmanship, safety, and quality standards during maintenance and outage activities.
• Lead and participate in PPE checks, risk assessments, pre-job briefings, and other safety programs.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with Advanced Frame Gas Turbines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, technical instructions, and OEM documentation while following Foreign Material Exclusion principles.
• Certification or training in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work demanding international assignment schedules.
• Strong English communication skills required.
