Salary: $155,747.20–$210,716.80 annual

What you will do
- Lead competitive intelligence for multiple assets within the Rare Disease Business Unit.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary intelligence into strategic insights, business implications, and recommendations.
- Partner with US and Global Marketing, disease-area, brand, corporate, and other cross-functional teams.
- Manage external vendors, internal intelligence networks, and primary data sources.
- Coordinate intelligence collection and debriefs at major medical conferences and congresses.
- Facilitate competitive simulations and strategic workshops, present analyses to senior stakeholders, and implement new CI technologies and solutions.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree plus 2 years, Master’s degree plus 4 years, Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years, Associate’s degree plus 10 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of analytics, consulting, and/or competitive intelligence experience.
- Experience in analytics, competitive intelligence, consulting, or related strategic research.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, data sources, and changing priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams and explain complex concepts clearly.
- Some travel required: 15–20%.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, or MBA focused on life sciences and business.
- Life science consulting experience in rare disease.
- Biopharma industry, rare disease, strategy consulting, or management consulting experience.
- Knowledge of rare disease trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet medical needs.
