What you will do
- Create new designs and resolve manufacturing or building-sequence issues for Operator Station cabs.
- Ensure design acceptance and manufacturing readiness while improving product quality.
- Support adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Plan and improve engineering procedures and operations for more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective products and processes.
- Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing to develop solutions that meet customer and dealer requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Knowledge of analytical problem-solving techniques and root-cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of technical engineering practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of design for manufacturability methodologies and tools.
- Experience or knowledge of product testing and technical troubleshooting approaches.
- Effective written, oral, and cross-functional communication skills.
