2027 FT Penetration Testing Engineer II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at the ISD Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Perform basic penetration and security testing using configured tools and scripts.
• Review security controls and vulnerabilities, apply severity ratings with guidance, and document findings in workflow reporting tools.
• Support secure infrastructure and network design, including translating high-level designs into detailed components.
• Monitor network performance, alerts, metrics, and service-level objectives for network applications and systems.
• Analyze requirements, maintain traceability matrices, and contribute to user stories and design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support security, compliance, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or three years of penetration-testing or related experience.
• Knowledge of security principles, frameworks, controls, risk methodologies, and security-testing techniques.
• Knowledge of scripting, operating systems, networking, cloud computing, mobile technology, and IoT or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, scalability, disaster recovery, security standards, and network design.
• Ability to work onsite at the Bentonville, Arkansas location.

Nice to have

• Security+, Network+, GISF, or GSEC certification.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
