Cyber Security Evaluation Team Member (Cyber Security, Senior Associate)

Location: On-site five days per week at the Patuxent River, Maryland site; occasional travel to CONUS sites up to 10%

Salary: $145,000–$218,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform adversarial threat emulation, red-team operations, and penetration testing of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and platform IT.
• Conduct penetration-testing assessments of Windows domains, Linux systems, switches, routers, and other connected network devices.
• Apply and develop advanced principles, concepts, and tactics for offensive security assessments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and security issues in operational networks and programs.
• Work closely with government customers in a cyber range supporting DoD testing, training, and certification activities.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in penetration testing, red-team operations, or offensive security, including on-net assessments.
• Experience with tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, NMAP, and Core Impact.
• Working knowledge of IP network protocols, subnetting, routing, and switching.
• Experience in penetration testing, exploit or malware development, reverse engineering, web application security, software development, hardware hacking, cryptography, digital forensics, control systems, or RF security.
• Current Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
• Required CEH and CISSP certifications, or equivalent credentials; ability to obtain an approved vendor certification within six months.

Nice to have

• OSCP certification and cyber-related military training.
• Web application penetration testing, WiFi or SDR hacking, red-team emulation, or Close Access Team assessment experience.
• Weapon systems, cyber range, avionics mission support, Bash, Python, or PowerShell experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, equivalent education and experience, or advanced certification.
