SAP Authorizations Technical Consultant (SAP)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model with onsite and offsite work

What you will do

• Manage SAP user access and maintain authorization profiles, roles, and user-management solutions.
• Assess user access rights, identify risks, recommend mitigations, and support access reviews across approximately 70 legal entities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP authorization issues while providing end-user support.
• Collaborate with business key users and IT teams on secure role design and business requirements.
• Support SAP security audits, compliance reviews, IT General Controls, and mitigation of Segregation of Duties conflicts.
• Prepare user training materials, document incidents and investigations, and own authorization work packages in major SAP projects.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, engineering, management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with SAP authorizations.
• Knowledge of SAP landscape architecture, modules, integrations, data flows, single roles, and composite roles.
• Knowledge of audit, internal controls, compliance, and Segregation of Duties concepts.
• Experience with Finance systems deployment projects, user support or ticketing tools, and Change Request Management tools such as ChaRM.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, BW/BI, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required; ECC and ServiceNow knowledge is a plus.
