Member Service Representative (Full-Time) - North Clearwater

Location: On-site in Clearwater, Florida, United States. The role may require working at or transferring permanently to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance. Availability is required Monday through Saturday based on business needs.

Salary: $20.82–$24.19 per hour

What you will do

• Provide members and prospective members with financial products, services, and education on available service channels.
• Counsel members on financial wellness and identify opportunities to deepen member relationships.
• Assist with consumer loan applications and resolve complex account discrepancies and member concerns.
• Identify and mitigate potential fraud or suspicious account activity while complying with financial regulations and institutional policies.
• Process complex transactions, including large cash withdrawals, loan payoffs, certificate redemptions, and vault operations.
• Support branch efficiency, quality control, outreach events, and the development of lower-level team members.

Requirements

• Advanced relationship-building, communication, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of deposit and loan products, financial services, and operational procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while maintaining composure in a high-production, changing environment.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently, adapt to evolving technologies, and exercise sound judgment.
• Compliance with federal financial regulations, institutional policies, and Bank Secrecy Act procedures.
• No formal education is required.

Nice to have

• Significant experience in financial services, retail banking, or a credit union environment.
• Specialist experience in areas such as IRAs, financial health presentations, or mortgages.
