Field Deployment Engineering (FDE) Team Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Field Deployment Engineering team, supporting performance, feedback, and career growth.
• Set priorities, allocate workloads, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality customer solutions.
• Provide technical direction for complex integrations and solutions involving APIs, webhooks, MCP, custom objects, and extensibility.
• Remain hands-on in strategic customer projects, including solution design, integrations, automations, prototypes, and lightweight applications.
• Review designs for scalability, maintainability, and alignment with platform standards.
• Partner with Customer Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to resolve escalations and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in system integrations, technical implementation, SaaS deployment, solution consulting, or integration architecture.
• 1–2 years of experience in people management or team leadership, or demonstrated leadership through mentoring, technical guidance, or project ownership.
• Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and automation tools.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and vibe coding.
• Strong business, technical, analytical, consulting, communication, and troubleshooting skills, including experience with enterprise customers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance conversations, structured feedback, career development, or leading technical projects.
• Familiarity with HCM, HRIS, payroll, identity, or other enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
• Experience with extensible SaaS platforms, configurable data models, and end-to-end enterprise workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud services, authentication methods, APIs, and integration security.
