Field Deployment Engineering (FDE) Team Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team, supporting performance, professional growth, and career development.
• Set priorities, allocate work, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality customer solutions.
• Provide technical direction on complex integrations and solutions using APIs, webhooks, MCP, custom objects, and extensibility capabilities.
• Remain hands-on in strategic customer projects involving solution design, integrations, automations, prototypes, and lightweight applications.
• Review designs for scalability, maintainability, and alignment with Bob’s technical standards.
• Partner with Customer Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to resolve escalations and improve reusable solutions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in system integrations, technical implementation, SaaS deployment, solution consulting, or integration architecture.
• 1–2 years of experience in people management or team leadership, or demonstrated leadership through mentoring, technical guidance, or project ownership.
• Hands-on experience integrating SaaS platforms with APIs, webhooks, middleware, automation tools, and related technologies.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and vibe coding.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, troubleshooting, customer-facing, consulting, and communication skills.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating complex needs into scalable solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance conversations, structured feedback, or career development.
• Experience leading technical projects or coordinating integrations, implementation, or solutions teams.
• Familiarity with HCM, HRIS, payroll, identity, enterprise SaaS ecosystems, cloud services, authentication, and integration security.
• Experience with extensible SaaS platforms, configurable data models, and end-to-end enterprise workflows.
