TL;DR
Software Engineer I (Cloud Platform): Building and maintaining cloud-based applications, RESTful APIs, shared services, and user-facing applications with an accent on event-driven services, identity and access management, scalability, and secure cloud-native development. Focus on developing platform capabilities, integrating DevOps practices, and gathering requirements with Product, UX, Architecture, Delivery, Support, and Operations teams.
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia; hybrid work with regular office attendance required

What you will do
- Develop, support, and continuously improve cloud-based platform services and infrastructure components.
- Build event-driven services, identity and access management, user navigation services, and other shared platform capabilities.
- Develop backend services and user-facing applications delivered through the cloud platform.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
- Gather requirements with Product, UX, Architecture, Delivery, Support, and Site Reliability Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or professional experience.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and modern application development.
- Experience or familiarity with Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to AWS, databases, APIs, and software development tools.
- Basic knowledge of software testing, Git, and CI/CD concepts.
- At least 1 year of experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
