Senior Manager, Master Data Management & Reference Data (Biotech)

What you will do

• Translate business priorities into scalable master data, reference data, and governance capabilities.
• Co-develop and execute enterprise MDM and Reference Data roadmaps aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Lead initiatives across customer, product, supplier, material, study, and organizational data domains.
• Establish governance processes, data standards, stewardship responsibilities, and quality controls.
• Implement and enhance Reltio MDM capabilities, including onboarding, matching, survivorship, hierarchies, workflows, and integrations.
• Advance semantic and terminology management while coordinating business teams, technology groups, internal delivery teams, and external partners.

Requirements

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of regulated business processes, data standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Reltio MDM and/or ontology and terminology management platforms such as SciBite or TopQuadrant.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional data initiatives across business and technology teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience, or master’s degree and 6 years, bachelor’s degree and 8 years, or associate degree and 10 years.

• Experience aligning stakeholders with different priorities and articulating measurable business value from data management investments.
• Experience managing external partners and geographically distributed delivery teams.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and FAIR data principles.
