Health Information Supervisor (Healthcare Data)

Location: Hybrid, covering Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, and Chicago, Illinois; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $21.25–$27.13 USD per hour

What you will do

• Lead, train, motivate, and develop health information service teams across multiple client locations.
• Manage workflow, productivity, staffing needs, and quality assurance expectations.
• Handle escalations from centralized call centers and coordinate complex issues with clients and location leadership.
• Lead audit requests from payors and manage requests from client risk management teams.
• Review data, maintain accurate medical-record information, and provide solutions to clients and leadership.
• Participate in project teams and committees focused on operational strategy and process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of health information-related experience; two years of leadership, customer service, data entry, and release-of-information or HIM experience is preferred.
• Ability to work both on-site and remotely in a hybrid role across the specified Illinois locations.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA standards and accurate, compliant handling of medical-record information.
• Ability to present to leadership, clients, and staff both by video and in person.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Office.

• Electronic medical records experience with EPIC or Cerner.
• Production or metric-based work experience.
