Lead Software Engineer, Go (Fintech)

hirify.global is a publicly traded technology company developing regulated gaming products and hirify.global Exchange, a financial exchange platform for entertainment and trading.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Go backend services for critical exchange functionality.
• Develop distributed systems for high-volume, low-latency transaction processing and real-time market activity.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Trading Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver exchange capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of core platform services, focusing on performance, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Optimize systems through profiling, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Establish engineering practices through code reviews, technical mentorship, observability improvements, and production problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• Professional Go/Golang development experience.
• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol connectivity in automated trading, exchange, or market data systems.
• Experience designing distributed systems with strong scalability, resiliency, performance, concurrency, and asynchronous processing requirements.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, monitoring, and operational best practices. A gaming license may be required depending on the role.

Nice to have

• Experience building financial exchanges, trading platforms, market infrastructure, or high-frequency transaction systems.
