Quality Systems Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $27.71 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain electronic and physical document control systems, logs, storage, access, retention, retrieval, and destruction processes.
• Process document change requests, create documents and forms, coordinate annual reviews, and notify employees about updated versions.
• Manage change-control records for documents, drawings, specifications, approvals, and related tracking logs.
• Conduct document audits and support preparation for quality audits.
• Document and monitor corrective actions, nonconformance reports, audit findings, and required process changes.
• Create and maintain training materials while supporting compliance with organizational policies and ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical degree and at least three years of experience in a related field.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, technical writing, grammar, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to identify errors, manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, work proactively, and operate with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle highly confidential business information and interact assertively with all organizational levels.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds when requested.
