Calibration Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM; overtime is routine.

What you will do

• Calibrate micrometers, calipers, pin gages, thread plugs, thread rings, and height gages to ISO-9000 and ANSI Z540-1 requirements.
• Calibrate oven and other manufacturing equipment in accordance with applicable standards, including AMS-2750 and ASTM E-29.
• Kit gages after calibration when required.
• Conduct plant-wide calibration compliance audits and maintain daily management boards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and track internal equipment inventories and external calibration vendors.
• Enter calibration certification data and review records for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of quality control, manufacturing, or metrology experience in an aerospace, military, or machining manufacturing environment operating under ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering part drawings and read blueprints.
• Access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services requires U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization.
• Employment is contingent on obtaining any required employment visa and export authorization, including an export license if applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP or a similar ERP system, and Gage Trak calibration software.
• Understanding of Gage R&R for measuring equipment and ISO 17025 requirements.
