Data Scientist (Power BI)

Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Analyze, clean, mine, and process high-volume datasets for reliable decision-making.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint solutions, and SQL workflows.
• Design and maintain data models, SQL queries, Snowflake integrations, and standardized reporting structures.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business performance reviews.
• Own and continuously improve dashboards, automated solutions, data pipelines, and SharePoint applications.
• Define project scope and requirements with stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of business statistics, including sample size, distributions, standard deviation, and common statistical errors.
• Foundational programming knowledge in SQL and Python.
• Structured analytical thinking and ability to evaluate problems and alternative solutions.
• Fluent English required.
• Five-day-a-week in-office presence in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
