Technology Intern (Analytics/Data Science/Automation/Applications & Business Solutions/Infrastructure & Operations/Telecommunications Construction)

Location: Onsite in Columbus, New Albany, or Gahanna, Ohio, or nearby areas

Housing stipend: $1,500 per month may be provided to interns moving more than 45 miles from their home address.

What you will do

• Collaborate with a manager and support organizational and departmental initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to improve department operations and work independently and within a team.
• Support analytics and reporting automation, including self-service solutions.
• Help solve energy-industry problems using sensor data, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, text analytics, and image processing.
• Develop and support applications and business solutions in an agile environment, including potential work in mobility, AR/VR, AI/ML, and data visualization.
• Support infrastructure, telecommunications, fiber-optic design and construction, telecom site development, permits, contractors, and construction coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma and enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
• Completion of the freshman year in a four-year business administration, computer science, or related program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, professional composure, sound judgment, and logical or critical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, New Albany, or Gahanna, Ohio, or nearby areas.

Nice to have

• Coursework in computer science and engineering, information technology, information systems, business, data analytics, or data science.
• Scripting, coding, or infrastructure technology exposure for Infrastructure & Operations internships.
