TL;DR

Location: New York, NY, United States. Hybrid role requiring onsite work at least 60% of the working month, approximately three days per week.

Salary: $93,000–$127,000 base pay per year, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Develop imaging-based technologies for measuring molecular organization and cellular state dynamics.
  • Profile immune cell states, disease states, and their spatial context.
  • Analyze high-dimensional imaging and sequencing datasets with computational and systems-level approaches.
  • Integrate imaging-based and sequencing-based multi-omics platforms to study cellular functions in situ.
  • Collaborate across genomics, synthetic biology, immunology, machine learning, and related disciplines.
  • Contribute to preprints, publications, presentations, and open science practices.

Requirements

  • PhD in genomics, molecular biology, bioengineering, systems biology, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least two years of post-PhD experience with single-cell technologies, including imaging-based and/or sequencing-based omics.
  • Strong experience developing novel experimental technologies and imaging-based technologies.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, cell culture, nucleic acid workflows, and cellular functional assays.
  • Ability to independently design rigorous experiments, troubleshoot complex workflows, and drive projects to completion.
  • Research background in immunology or immune engineering, with strong scientific communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with advanced microscopy, instrumentation, or imaging-based transcriptomics and genomics.
  • Experience with synthetic biology, protein design, or engineered cell systems.
