What you will do

• Implement and evaluate clinical research protocols across various disease groups as a float research nurse.
• Support protocol development, review, budgeting, quality assurance materials, and research coordination.
• Recruit and register patients, coordinate visits and assessments, manage protocol data, and monitor test results.
• Coordinate study enrollment, protocol treatment, patient education, specimens, documentation, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with investigators, physicians, nurses, care coordination teams, Institute staff, and external research organizations.
• Maintain patient safety, regulatory compliance, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. Associate-degree nurses must complete a BSN within four years.
• At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or New Hampshire is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification is required; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is accepted as the minimum requirement.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, clinical research, and evidence-based nursing skills.
• Professional nursing certification is preferred, including OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, or RN-BC.

Nice to have

• Ambulatory or oncology nursing experience.
• Professional nursing certification.
