Site Technical Operations Manager (MedTech)

Location: Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Lead the engineering organization by setting goals, objectives, strategic plans, and career development programs.
• Plan, direct, and deliver complex engineering projects and technical studies for the manufacturing site.
• Track operational data, identify risks, and implement process, equipment, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage engineering operations, including capital budgets, spending, validation, and change control execution.
• Ensure compliance with Quality System Regulation, quality policies, OSHA requirements, machine-guarding standards, and health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Coordinate technology and digital initiatives with the corporate digital team and global engineering, Technical Operations, project management, and site networks.

Requirements

• Eight to ten years of experience in manufacturing or design engineering.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in engineering, or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Experience with process automation and project management.
• Experience working and supervising in an FDA- or medical-device-regulated industry.
• Advanced analytical, professional judgment, communication, reporting, presentation, and project-planning skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based manufacturing environment and resolve major technical issues.

Nice to have

• P.E. license.
• Experience with lean supply chain management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, budget management, and non-conformance reporting.
