Backend Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid model with 3 remote days and 2 office days per week.

Salary: From €55,000 gross annually, adjusted according to experience, plus a 10% annual variable bonus.

What you will do

• Own and evolve backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, including time-series data solutions such as TimescaleDB.
• Implement and maintain decoupled systems using message brokers, queues, topics, and pub/sub.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to reliable service delivery.
• Participate in Scrum or Kanban ceremonies, estimation, code reviews, and delivery planning.
• Manage development workflows using Jira and Git, including branching and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational design, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Git skills, including GitFlow, rebasing, and conflict resolution.
• Previous experience working in agile teams and with Jira.
• Fluent Spanish is required; English is valued for technical documentation and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in time-series data and TimescaleDB.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus, or another message broker.
• Experience with Application Insights, ELK, or similar observability tools.
