What you will do
- Review and advise on insurance wordings and products, including binding authorities, cover-holder wordings, and broker wordings.
- Develop guidance for underwriters on wording-related legal, regulatory, and market developments.
- Draft custom wordings and clauses for large or complex risks.
- Maintain the central wording repository, records, and reports, while coordinating workloads and timely delivery.
- Conduct post-bind thematic reviews and support product, process, governance, audit, and strategic project work.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Compliance, Product Governance, Legal & Regulatory, IT, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Experience drafting legal contracts or insurance policies.
- Knowledge of insurance business, markets, and general insurance terminology.
- Strong analytical, interpretation, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Project management capability and the ability to manage time and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, consensus-building, communication, and people leadership skills.
- Experience collaborating with senior management, stakeholders, boards, or committees.
